It does not matter if it is a small commercial door, or a very large commercial door. Yes, we even fix airplane hanger doors, some of the most massive overhead doors you will run into in the commercial door industry. Included with working on these overhead doors is all the hardware and systems that go along with them. The motor operator and safety devices like photo eyes, bottom safety edge and vehicle presence sensors. As well as the automatic opener remotes and receivers, keypads, controlled access systems. Entry door installation, repair and service would be next. These are typical glass aluminum entry doors with hydraulic closers. The door closers come in many different styles and types. Door closers can last anywhere from 2-30 years, depending on the model and usage.

Even though we are a commercial overhead door service and repair company, we work on many different applications. Gates would be one that most people wouldn’t think of. Commercial gates and operators require maintenance and repairs just like everything else. The maintenance required for a commercial gate is different than that of an overhead door but it should still be checked out at least once a year.

Our steel security gates are top notch and provide excellent security from break-ins and burglaries. In your warehouse we can install steel bollards in the cement to prevent unauthorized vehicles from coming through. Rear security gates are another option to keep out unwanted guests. Commercial docks that are usually underneath a commercial door or overhead door is another area of expertise for us at General Door. These commercial docks require regular maintenance and cleaning due to the debris that falls into them on a regular basis. Like commercial doors these docks can become dangerous overtime and start to not function as they were intended. If you know your docks have not been looked at in at least a year it is time to schedule someone to come out and inspect them for you.
